I’m Sarala, an American cookbook author and cooking instructor based in Bordeaux. When I adopted a plant-based lifestyle, I refused to give up my love for French cooking.
Instead, I discovered how to reimagine classic French cuisine through a vegan lens.
What began as a lockdown experiment evolved into two cookbooks, an Instagram community of food lovers, and hands-on cooking classes in the heart of Bordeaux.

My mission? To share the tools and techniques that make vegan French cooking accessible, elegant, and utterly delicious—whether you’re plant-based or simply curious.
